WVU president rounds out summer tour, celebrates new students ahead of academic year

WHAT: West Virginia University representatives will join local leaders, Mountaineer alumni, friends and supporters in Raleigh County to congratulate two of the 2024 WVU Foundation Scholars.

WHO: President Gordon Gee, 2024 WVU Foundation Scholars Ama Ackon-Annan from Woodrow Wilson High School and Zadie Worley from Liberty (Raleigh) High School, and other University and local representatives

Gee will join a gold and blue inspired luncheon event to celebrate Ackon-Annan, Worley and other incoming WVU students ahead of the 2024-25 academic year which begins Aug. 21.
