WHAT: West Virginia University welcomes new and returning students to campus with Welcome Week beginning Thursday (Aug. 10). Events are planned on the Morgantown Campus ahead of and continuing after the first day of classes on Wednesday, Aug. 16.
WHO: Students will have the opportunity to be involved in more than 50 activities and events, showcasing life as a Mountaineer with academic, social and service elements to help them tap into their strengths, find their purpose and make a home on campus.

Thursday, Aug. 10, to Saturday, Aug. 12
• Residence hall move-ins, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 12
• Welcome Week Cookouts, 6-8 p.m. for students with dining plans at the Mountainlair Green and Evansdale Fields
• WVUp All Night, 10 p.m.-2 a.m. for all students at the Mountainlair
Sunday, Aug. 13
• Student Organization Fair, 4:30-6:30 p.m. for all students at the Student Recreation Center with evening activities to follow from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at the Mountainlair and Student Rec Center
Monday, Aug. 14
• Monday Night Lights, 7 p.m. for first-year students only at Milan Puskar Stadium with a performance from “The Pride of West Virginia,” the Mountaineer Marching Band, and the taking of an official class photo.

• FallFest and FoodFest, 5:30 p.m. for all students at the Evansdale Fields
