Dive into this year’s West Virginia University Campus Read“Interior Chinatown,” by connecting with its author, Charles Yu, as part of the David C. Hardesty Festival of Ideas.   

WHO: University faculty, staff, students, community members and Charles Yu, author of four books including “Interior Chinatown,” which won the 2020 National Book Award for Fiction

WHEN: Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m.

WHERE: The author joins the WVU community virtually via Zoom.

Each year, WVU engages the University campuses and broader community through a common reading experience in hopes of fostering dialogue, critical thinking and participation. This year’s Campus Read is designed to encourage campus-wide discussions on race, stereotypes and the confines of achieving “The American Dream.”

The annual Campus Read is organized by the WVU Humanities Center.
