WVU Statler College to host Mechanical and Aerospace Student Design Showcase

WHAT: Annual Senior Capstone Expo featuring projects centering around mechanical and aerospace-based teams, hosted by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at West Virginia University’s Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources

WHEN: April 26-28 during various times throughout those days

WHERE: Engineering Sciences Building, 1306 Evansdale Drive, Morgantown

NOTES: The students will present several show-and-tell demonstrations from competition teams including: the WVU Formula SAE racecar competition team, the WVU Experimental Rocketry team, the WVU EcoCAR Mobility Challenge team, the WVU University Rover Challenge team, the WVU AIAA Design, Build, Fly team, and Spacecraft Design student participating in the NASA RASC-AL competition. Students participating in the WVU Microgravity Research team will also show and present their flight project, and this year’s Aircraft Design students will host a presentation.

The expo is free and open to the public. Students will be on hand to give demonstrations and answer questions related to their projects
