WVU Statler College to host dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony for new Lane Innovation Hub

WHAT: Ceremonial ribbon cutting for the West Virginia University Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources new Lane Innovation Hub

WHO: Speakers WVU President Gordon Gee; Glen H. Hiner Dean of the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources Pedro Mago; Cynthia Roth, WVU Foundation president, and distinguished WVU alumni Ray and Stephanie Lane

WHEN: Friday (Nov. 19),10:30 a.m.

WHERE: West Entrance of the Engineering Sciences Building, Area 41. WVU Evansdale Campus. Parking is available in lot 40.

At nearly 9,500-square-feet, the Lane Innovation Hub — established in honor of Ray Lane and his wife, Stephanie—will transform entrepreneurial opportunities for students in the Statler College and the people of West Virginia. The Lane Innovation Hub is the first full-scale prototyping center on campus and offers a complete suite of services and facilities where users can fabricate and build electronic, mechanical and combined devices needed to support their particular activity.
