WVU’s Chambers College to hold Wells Fargo Financial Literacy Boot Camp

WHO: The Center for Financial Literacy & Education at West Virginia University’s John Chambers College of Business and Economics is hosting a Financial Literacy Boot Camp sponsored by Wells Fargo.

WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 14, 6 p.m. — Saturday, Nov. 16, 2 p.m.

WHERE: Clarion Hotel & Conference Center, 233 Lowe Drive, Shepherdstown

NOTE:  The event is a free, weekend professional development seminar designed for primary and secondary educators. The materials presented will be educational materials designed to increase personal finance skills in the areas of budgeting, investing and retirement planning. Materials and curriculum design for integration into the classroom.

The event will kick off with an opening dinner on Thursday evening. The seminar begins Friday morning at 8:30 a.m. and will run until 2 p.m. on Saturday.
