Kids’ health roundtable series

WHAT: The West Virginia University Center for Excellence in Disabilities and the West Virginians for Affordable Health Care will host a roundtable discussion for challenges and solutions to keep kids healthy during the opioid crisis.

WHEN: 

  • Morgantown: Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2-3:30 p.m., Fukishima Auditorium at the Health Sciences Center, 1 Medical Center Dr. #1000
  • Martinsburg: Monday, Sept. 16, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., WVU Martinsburg Campus Health Sciences Center auditorium, 2500 Foundation Way
  • Huntington: Friday, Sept. 20, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., Harless Auditorium at Marshall University, 1 John Marshall Dr.

NOTES:
The panelists will include:

  • Dr. Courtney Sweet, Inpatient Pharmacy Manager for the WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital
  • Dr. Tim Lefeber, Assistant Professor and Residency Program Director in the Department of Pediatrics at WVU
  • Dr. Chris Plein, Professor in the Department of Public Administration at WVU
  • Dr. Lauren Swager, Associate Professor and Director of the Child and Adolescent Fellowship in the Department of Behavioral Medicine & Psychiatry at WVU.
