West Virginia Day celebration to focus on early photography

West Virginia University Libraries and the WVRHC will focus on early photography in America as part of their West Virginia Day program.

WHO: John Cuthbert, director, West Virginia and Regional History Center; Ron Coddington, keynote speaker, Civil War era photography; Lori Hostuttler, assistant director, West Virginia and Regional History Center

WHAT: Civil War era photography program hosted by West Virginia University Libraries and the WVRHC. The program features an exhibit of early photographs from the WCRHC historical photography collection following the keynote address.

WHEN: June 20, 9 a.m. to noon

WHERE:  Milano Reading Room in the Charles C. Wise, Jr. Library, 1549 University Ave., Morgantown 

MORE INFORMATION: Following the exhibit, Coddington will be available for questions in the Downtown Campus library atrium. Birthday cake will be served.
