WVU student to debut fashion brand as part of African Night event

At African Night, Saturday April 6 at 7 p.m., Damilola Fasinu, a design and merchandising graduate student, will launch her clothing brand, Gbajumo Fashion. The event is a celebration of diversity as well as the culture, traditions and people of Africa and will feature African food and music, dancing, a fashion show and skit.

WVU Extension Service expert offers solutions for farmers dealing with excess mud

After a nearly yearlong battle with unusually wet weather in West Virginia, farmers around the state are now dealing with another troublesome consequence – mud. Once cattle have been turned out to pasture this spring, WVU Extension Service expert Ed Rayburn recommends farmers reseed muddy terrain as quickly as possible. He’s provided some simple suggestions to help our state’s farmers combat the mud and keep their soil as healthy as possible.

WVU Creative Arts Center celebrates 50th anniversary

West Virginia University Creative Arts Center celebrates its 50th anniversary with cake that will be served at noon in the lobby. Limited edition ceramic mugs, handcrafted by the WVU Ceramics Studio, will be available for purchase.
