WHAT: West Virginia University Presidential Student Ambassadors reflection on service and leadership

WHO: Presidential Student Ambassadors:

  • Jordyn Johnson, South Charleston
  • Taylor Miller, Fairmont
  • Emma Blair, Wheeling
  • Abby Sine, Core
  • Hannah Belt, Thurmont, Maryland
  • Audra Knotts, Flemington
  • Shamil Patel, Huntington
  • Noor Dahshan, Morgantown
  • Timmy Eads, Buffalo

NOTES: Freshman and sophomore students were nominated by deans and directors to apply for the class, Presidential Student Ambassadors. Those selected were invited by President Gordon Gee to enroll in CSAD 493A, Presidential Student Ambassadors, an Honors College, leadership and service-learning course. 

After their presentations Tuesday, students will receive a Student Leadership Certificate having completed at least 40 service hours and attended at least 20 leadership events.
