WVU to focus on climate change in two venues over three days

WHAT: “A Change in Climate for Climate Change” presentation

WHERE: G06 Agricultural Sciences Building, Evansdale Drive, Morgantown

WHEN: March 26, 11 a.m.

In addition to Steelman’s presentation, the Davis College will also host Mamie Parker, the principal of Ma Parker Associates and is a former assistant director of fisheries and habitat conservation for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Parker will present “Passion, Inspiration and Excellence” at 6:30 p.m. March 27 in the lower lobby of Percival Hall, 355 Oakland St., Morgantown.

The seminars precede a day-long exposition of WVU’s leading climate change experts April 1.

WVU’s Spring Academic Media Day will focus on climate change from numerous angles, including water security, climate history in trees and public health in a changing climate.
