WVU to hold second annual Day of Giving Nov. 14

WHAT: West Virginia University, including Health Sciences and regional campuses, will hold its second annual Day of Giving, a 24-hour online event to raise money for scholarships and the greatest needs of the University and individual colleges and schools. Last year, more than $2.9 million was raised from more than 2,500 donors in the first WVU Day of Giving. 

WHEN: Midnight - 11:59 p.m., Wednesday (Nov. 14)

WHERE: Morgantown campus, three locations for photo/video opportunities (Mountainlair, Evansdale Crossing, Health Sciences Center pylons area, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.). People will have the opportunity to make gifts and sign donor thank you cards.

A special Day of Giving event is also being held at WVU Tech in Beckley at the Chick-fil-a on Eisenhower Drive from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m.
