WHO: West Virginia University President Gordon Gee; Ken Blemings, Dean of the WVU Honors College
WHAT: West Virginia University will welcome nearly 2,500 prospective students and families to campus this weekend as part of Decide WVU Days, which gives admitted students the opportunity to explore what it means to be a Mountaineer both in and outside of the classroom.
In addition to prospective students and families from around the country, President Gee and Honors College Dean Ken Blemings will be on-hand to meet students and families and will be available to speak with media.
WHEN and WHERE:
Saturday (April 14): WVU Mountainlair, Downtown Campus
Noon to 1 p.m.: President Gee and Ken Blemings will be available to speak with media in the Mountainlair Commons (across from JACs)
12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Meet WVU’s therapy dogs at the Hearts of Gold session in room 202 of Brooks Hall
1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Undergraduate Research Symposium, Mountainlair Ballrooms
