WVU experts to take part in Mine Drainage Task Force Symposium

WHAT: 2018 Mine Drainage Task Force Symposium

WHEN: March 27-28

WHERE: Marriott Waterfront Hotel, Morgantown

Organizers estimate the meeting will draw more than 300 attendees from across the United States and neighboring countries. 

Participants will include experts in industry, government and higher education. Scientists from the WVU Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, WVU Extension Service, Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, Eberly College of Arts and Sciences and the National Research Center for Coal and Energy will present results of studies ranging from mine drainage to surface and underground mining and reclamation techniques.
