Trevor Gromen, a mechanical and aerospace engineering student, films for WVU Athletics.
What’s the news?
Most student
workers behind the cameras at West Virginia University Athletics events come from
the Reed College of Media. But one student from the Statler College of
Engineering and Mineral Resources is using his hidden talent to make sure fans
don’t miss a minute of the action. Trevor Gromen, a mechanical and aerospace
engineering student, has plans to integrate all he’s learned in his major and
in his job for an out-of-this-world career.
Quotes and Comments.
“After graduation, my goal is to take
the knowledge and experience that I have gained at the Statler College and the
additional teamwork skills that I have gained from filming and use it to lead a
research design team for interplanetary travel to learn more about our solar
system and the universe.” –Trevor Gromen,
WVU Athletics student cameraman.
