What’s the news?
West Virginia University has developed a CARE Team whose central mission is to help students, staff and faculty better assist at-risk students. The CARE team (including representatives from Academic Affairs, Campus and Community Life, Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, Carruth Center for Counseling and Psychological Services, University Police Department, and Housing and Residence Life) helps students who are experiencing academic struggles and mental health challenges, and intervenes to best serve them and the WVU community.
