WHAT: FallFest, West Virginia University’s annual welcome back concert

WHEN: Gates will open Tuesday, Aug. 15, at 4 p.m. with FallFest set to begin at 5 p.m. and conclude at 9:30 p.m. This event is rain or shine.

WHO: Performances by Cage the Elephant, 21 Savage and RL Grime

WHERE:  Evansdale Rec Fields adjacent to the Student Rec Center

CREDENTIALS/MEDIA CHECK-IN:

Any member of the media who would like to take photos and/or video of the artists on stage needs to submit a request for credentials by today (Aug. 14) at 5 p.m

Media check-in will be located at Gate 2 - Rec Center Drive between the Student Rec Center and the CPASS building. 

WVU students with valid WVU IDs are permitted one guest age 17 and older. WVU students with guests may enter any gate. Guest tickets are not required, but guests should be prepared to show proof of age. WVU IDs will be scanned at the gates.

PARKING:

Free parking will be available beginning at 3 p.m. in WVU Short Term Lot ST9 across from the Art Museum and in WVU Short Term Lot ST1 off Patteson Drive.

ROAD CLOSURES:

Rec Center Drive – Tuesday, Aug. 15, from noon to midnight

ADDITIONAL NOTE:

FoodFest will be held in conjunction with FallFest at Evansdale, Short Term Lot 4 near the Student Rec Center and Evansdale Crossing on Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
