$18.1M in scholarship support raised to benefit WVU students

In the year since the COVID-19 pandemic began, West Virginia University alumni and friends have contributed over $18.1 million to ensure students can achieve their dreams by enrolling at WVU or proceeding with their education.

WVU Day of Giving moves to March

West Virginia University’s fourth annual Day of Giving moves to March. Day of Giving is a 24-hour online event that encourages WVU alumni and friends to support the University’s greatest priorities and opportunities – including scholarships and unrestricted funds at the University and unit-specific levels. WVU Health Sciences and regional campuses in Keyser and Beckley are also included.

WVU Medicine Children’s, Nexstar partner for Mediathon on Nov. 13

WVU Medicine Children’s, the state’s only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, has partnered with Nexstar Media Group to host a Mediathon on Wednesday, Nov. 13, in conjunction with the WVU Day of Giving to raise funds that will help patients and families in need of life-changing care.

WVU seeks to build Pride of West Virginia Practice Facility

An institution at West Virginia University for more than 100 years, the Mountaineer Marching Band will one day have a home of its own. WVU and dedicated alumni are working together to pursue a practice facility for the 330-member West Virginia University Mountaineer Marching Band.
