WVU innovation allows patient simulation program to continue through COVID-19

After COVID-19 stopped in-person simulated training for West Virginia University medical students, leaders of the Interprofessional Education program and the Simulation Training for Education and patient Safety Center got creative, using a remote-controlled robot to interact with patients in their homes.

Mountaineer Week 2020 to be held online Nov. 8-14

It may look a little different this year, but Mountaineer Week, West Virginia University’s annual celebration of Appalachian culture will take place Nov. 8-14. The 73rd celebration will offer a variety of activities, mainly geared toward WVU students, on the Morgantown campus and online.

WVU Coliseum reduced capacity plans for upcoming basketball season

The West Virginia University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics will welcome fans to the WVU Coliseum, beginning with the men's basketball home opener on Dec. 2 against Youngstown State and the women's basketball home opener on Dec. 3 against North Alabama.
