WVU seeks NSF Engines award to boost energy and economy

Led by a team at WVU, collaborating with regional partners including Pitt and Carnegie Mellon University, the Resilient Energy Technology and Infrastructure Consortium is a finalist for the $160 million National Science Foundation Regional Innovation Engines award. If awarded, the funding is expected to drive more than $1 billion in economic growth across the region.
