Gee-SPN presents a Mountaineer football edition of Gee Mail (VIDEO)

In this episode of Gee Mail, President Gordon Gee interviews WVU football players and head coach Dana Holgorsen to get a grasp on the 2016 season.

Don’t let the bye week get you down, Mountaineer fans.

West Virginia University President Gordon ‘The Bow-Tied Galloping Ghost’ Gee is here to cure you of your Mountaineer football withdrawal with this edition of Gee Mail, presented by Gee-SPN.

Recently, Gee, posing as an intrepid sports journalist, caught up with WVU players and head coach Dana Holgorsen to deliver hard-hitting questions at a press conference at Milan Puskar Center.

Gee also took the time to shine a light on the athletes’ main role in Morgantown – as college students.

“While we cheer for our players and celebrate their abilities on the gridiron, we, as a University, also must support our student-athletes in their quest for education and off-the-field success,” Gee said. “On top of practice and training and performing in front of thousands, they, too, must squeeze in time for studying, writing papers and going to class.”

The Mountaineers (4-0) return to action Oct. 15 against Texas Tech.
