Law enforcement authorities say the suspect in shootings near Morgantown that left four people dead on Monday has been located and is deceased.

Earlier Monday, police said they were searching for Jody Lee Hunt, 39, of Westover, in shootings at three locations in what appeared to be targeted attacks.

West Virginia University Police noted that they had monitored the situation throughout the day and that there was never any indication that the campus or students were in danger.
