A West Virginia University professor can offer commentary on the anniversary (May 2) of the U.S. military strike that resulted in the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.

Professor Scott Crichlow, who chairs the political science department, conducts research on international relations, U.S. foreign policy, political psychology and Middle Eastern politics. His current research focuses on how group decision-making dynamics and the beliefs and personality traits of political leaders affect foreign policy.

He has co-authored a book titled Groupthink Versus High-Quality Decision Making in International Relations.
