Nationally-known scholar and West Virginia native Dr. Henry Louis “Skip” Gates, Jr. presentations in Charleston and Morgantown have been canceled due to the inclement weather.

Gates was scheduled to be the second speaker as part of West Virginia University’s 2010 David C. Hardesty, Jr. Festival of Ideas lecture series. He was scheduled to speak Wednesday, Feb. 10 in Charleston and Thursday, Feb. 11 in Morgantown.
