Monday, March 7, to Friday, March 11
EXHIBIT: “A Case of the Mundanes”
Nate Ditzler, a candidate for a Master of Fine Arts degree in the West Virginia University School of Art and Design, will present his MFA Thesis Exhibition at the Creative Arts Center’s Laura Mesaros Gallery, March 7-11. There will be a reception for the exhibition Thursday, March 9, at 5 p.m. at the gallery. All events are free and open to the public. The Mesaros Galleries at the Creative Arts Center are open Monday through Saturday, from noon to 9:30 p.m. The galleries are closed on Sundays and University holidays.

RECITAL: FORSCOM Four Clarinet Quartet
The West Virginia University School of Music will host a quartet of clarinetists from the Army Ground Forces Band. The FORSCOM Four Clarinet Quartet will perform a free concert at 4 p.m. Monday, March 7, in Bloch Learning and Performance Hall, 200A Creative Arts Center.
Tuesday, March 8, to Sunday, March 13
PLAY: “Courtship” and “Valentine’s Day”
Travel back to 1915 with the simple story of love between Horace Robedeaux and Elizabeth Vaughn. “Courtship” and “Valentine’s Day” are one-act plays from Horton Foote’s The Orphans’ Home Cycle that deal with loss, connection to family, and the uncertainty and excitement of falling in love. The West Virginia University School of Theatre and Dance will present the touching stories March 8-12 at 7:30 p.m., and March 13 at 2 p.m. in the Gladys G. Davis Theatre at the Creative Arts Center. RECITAL AND WORKSHOP: Quey Percussion Duo
The Quey Percussion Duo will bring their passion for the art of percussion to West Virginia University in a clinic and concert on Tuesday, March 8. The duo, consisting of Gene Koshinski and Tim Broscious, both of the University of Minnnesota Duluth, will lead a workshop at 4 p.m. in the percussion studio of WVU’s Creative Arts Center. They’ll perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. in Bloch Learning and Performance Hall, 200A Creative Arts Center. Both events are free and open to the public.

CONCERT: New Music
Faculty and students from the West Virginia University School of Music will feature new compositions in a special concert at 8:15 p.m.
Friday, March 11, in Bloch Learning and Performance Hall, 200A Creative Arts Center. The evening will feature works by WVU faculty, students, and alumni. The concert is free and open to the public.
