CONCERT: WVU Marching Band Keynotes Concerts
The West Virginia University Marching Band, under the direction of Jay Drury, will present its annual Keynotes Concerts – at 7:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, at the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre in the Creative Arts Center. For tickets, call the WVU Box Office at 304-293-SHOW.

Tuesday, Dec. 1-Sunday, Dec. 6
PLAY: The Beaux’ Stratagem
Join a cast of lovers, adventurers and villains in their world of fast-paced comedy, disguise, subterfuge, and the power of true love when the WVU School of Theatre & Dance presents the classic comedy with contemporary flair, ””The Beaux’ Stratagem,””:http://ccarts.wvu.edu/ccablog/2015/11/13/school-of-theatre—-dance-undertakes-a—beaux—stratagem- by George Farquhar, in an adaptation by Thornton Wilder and Ken Ludwig. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1-5 and 2 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Gladys G. Davis Theatre. An American Sign Language interpreted performance will be offered at the matinee performance on Sunday, by interpreters Teresa McGonigle and Janelle St. Marten. ART MUSEUM: Docent Training Information Session
If you love art and enjoy learning and sharing your knowledge, being a docent at the Art Museum of West Virginia University could be a great opportunity to get involved with the local community. The Art Museum of WVU is looking for docents for its next training program that begins in January 2016. Docents are specially trained volunteers who lead interactive tours to help school groups and other museum visitors learn about the works of art on view at the museum. No previous experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome. An information session about the docent program will take place Thursday Dec. 3, from 2:30 to 4 p.m. at the Museum Education Center.

SALE: WVU Student Print Club
Students from the West Virginia University Student Print Club will host a print sale at the Mountainlair from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday Dec. 03, and Friday, Dec. 04. Printmaking students from WVU’s School of Art & Design will be selling hand-made silkscreens, etchings, lithographs and relief prints. All prints will be $25 or less. There will be a wide variety of images and processes to choose from. All proceeds from this sale will go toward student travel to the 2016 Southern Graphics Council International (SGCI) Printmaking Conference in Portland, Ore.

Friday, Dec. 4
CONCERT: West Virginia Symphony Orchestra
The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra will present its ””Home for the Holidays””:http://ccarts.wvu.edu/ccablog/2015/11/19/west-virginia-symphony-orchestra-comes—home-for-the-holidays- concert, featuring the Morgantown Children’s Choir, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre. Students and faculty from any school with school identification can receive free tickets that must be redeemed at the WVU Arts and Entertainment Box Office. Residents with a West Virginia Driver’s License will receive $10 off their ticket price, but this offer must also be redeemed at the Box Office. For tickets, please call 304-293-SHOW.

Friday and Saturday, Dec. 4 and 5
SALE: WVU Production Ceramics Studio
A semester’s worth of work will result in the opportunity to buy beautiful, locally produced ceramics. WVU will hold its semi-annual pottery sale Dec. 4 and 5. The sale will be held in the Douglas O. Blaney Lobby of the Creative Arts Center from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, and and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. Undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Art & Design have been hard at work creating a line of table and kitchenware at the school’s production ceramics facility.

LAB THEATRE: The Last Days of Judas Iscariot
Set in a time-bending, darkly comic world between heaven and hell, “The Last Days of Judas Iscariot” reexamines the plight and fate of the New Testament’s most infamous and unexplained sinner. The play will be staged at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 4 and 5, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6 in the Vivian Davis Michael Theatre in the Creative Arts Center. Lab Theatre productions are free and open to the public.

Sunday, Dec. 6
Concert: WVU Choirs
The WVU School of Music and Community Music Program will present “O Holy Night,” a celebration of the season, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre in WVU’s Creative Arts Center. The concert will feature WVU’s Chamber Singers, Women’s Choir, and the West Virginia Community Choir under the direction of Kym Scott, WVU director of choral activities. The concert will feature special guests, the Morgantown Children’s Choir, under the direction of Helen Comber. For tickets, call the WVU Box Office at 304-293-SHOW.

LAURA MESAROS GALLERY: John Pe�a, Printmaker, Monday through Saturday, 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Pe�a is a visual artist, illustrator and educator who makes art as a way of exploring the natural world and his daily interactions. He has attended a number of residencies including Skowhegan, Bemis & The Fine Arts Work Center. He was also the recipient of the 2012 Carol R. Brown Creative Achievement Award as an Emerging Artist and recently created an artwork for the Mattress Factory Museum in Pittsburgh.

PAUL MESAROS GALLERY: Jen Mussari, Graphic Designer, Monday through Saturday, 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Jen Mussari is a designer, lettering artist, and illustrator, who now lives in Brooklyn, New York. Some of the clients she has collaborated with include Squarespace, Airbnb, Kickstarter, Shopify, Patagonia, the Art Director’s Club, EMI, Capitol Records, Target, West Elm, Penguin Books, Adobe, LOGAN, Pentagram, 72andSunny, CreativeMornings, and Smilebooth.
