Grammy-winning Lee Ann Womack is a country force like no other. The Texas native has a long list of accolades, including the 2003 Grammy for Best Country Collaboration, six Country Music Association Awards, an American Music Award and a Billboard Music Award.

Currently, Womack is touring in support of her latest album, “The Way I’m Livin.’” American Songwriter is calling the album “a triumph for country music that’s never musty yet still harkens back to a simpler, less glitzy time when emotions drove songs, not simplistic clichs.”

The magazine goes on to say of Womack: “There are few better, more affecting voices in contemporary country than Womack’s and this glorious return only makes it clear how much she has been missed.”

Guitarist, songwriter and producer Mac McAnally will also perform. He has won six CMA Musician of the Year awards, and has the possibility to take home his seventh tonight (Nov. 5)—making him the record-holder for most consecutive wins in the category.

His recent credit including producing Jimmy Buffett’s “Songs from St. Somehwere,” as well as co-writing seven of its tracks. McAnally also produced the late Jesse Winchester’s final album, “A Reasonable Amount of Trouble.”

West Virginia Public Broadcasting’s “Mountain Stage” will record two more shows at the WVU CAC. These shows are set for March 15 and April 12. Tickets are also on sale for these shows. Artists will be announced closer to show.
