West Virginia University will celebrate Week of Engagement through various activities across campus from April 18-26.

The week is designed to showcase service and engagement on campus. Throughout the week, students and student organizations will participate in large-scale service projects that benefit the community.

April 18
  • 10 a.m. – WVU’s Solar Decathlon House Groundbreaking Ceremony (Evansdale Campus)
  • 2:30-5 p.m. – WECAN Sustainability Committee Town Hall (Shenandoah Room, Mountainlair)
April 19
  • 3-7:30 p.m. – WECAN One Shirt Collection Drive (Mountainlair Green); For more information, visit here.

  • 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. – Mountain Duathlon (Coopers Rock State Forest)
  • 1-4 p.m. – Eco Race Events Litter Clean-Up (Hazel Ruby McQuain Amphitheater parking lot)
April 22-27 (National Volunteer Week)
