Gary Christopher, a West Virginia University alumnus and an expert in executive leadership, will present a lecture at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at WVU’s Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.

Christopher will present “Perspectives on Entrepreneurial Leadership,” as part of the Statler College’s Distinguished Lecture Series. It will be held in room G102 of the Engineering Sciences Building and is free and open to the public.

A 1974 civil engineering graduate of WVU, Christopher currently serves as president of The Jholdas Group, a consulting firm that offers strategic planning, leadership development and other initiatives to improve a business.

Christopher has 36 years of experience in executive leadership, operations management and project management within the engineering and construction sectors, serving industry, federal and public sector clients throughout the United States, Europe, Middle East and South Asia. He is on the leadership team of the non-profit organization, International Micro-Enterprise Development, which has established more than 600 micro-enterprises in developing countries.

As president of The Jholdas Group, Christopher has led strategic planning efforts for a host of professional service businesses; provided executive development and mentoring for emerging leaders; provided business process improvements, including project management, process, financial and strategic account management systems; and functioned as interim CEO and COO for clients.
