Seniors graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the West Virginia University College of Creative Arts will exhibit their final projects in the Creative Arts Center’s Mesaros Galleries, April 11 through May 12.

Works are from the areas of painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, graphic design, intermedia and photography.

The opening reception will be held Wednesday, April 11, at 6 p.m. at the galleries.

“This all-inclusive exhibition is unique among the many exhibits seen this year in the School, because it represents the culmination of all of our senior capstone projects for all the major studio areas,” said Alison Helm, chair of the School of Art & Design.

Students graduating with a BFA in Art and Design include: Laura Amtower, Michael Badzek III, Lauren Balistreri, Emily Barnhart, Zachary Boutillier, Jennifer Buch, Arlie Chipps IV, Leslie Coffman, Erin Crouse, Kayla Dolby, Ethan Dray, Bailey Farnsworth, Brittany Ferguson, Carly Goodman, Richard Green, Jessica Haring, Hannah Humlan, Logan Jones, Summer Karge, Halley Kurtz, Hayli McKinstry, Becky Moore, Mackenzie Murdock, Miriam Newman, Radhika Patel, Dolton Richards, Felicia Rinehart, Matthew Sanchez, Lauren Schiefelbein, Nicole Seidman, Brendan Sellaro, Peter Tichnell, Michael Velcoff, Sheree Wentz, Larry Whittington and Kelsey Wince.

The Mesaros Galleries will be open during the College of Creative Arts Convocation, Saturday, May 12, at 5:30 p.m. in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre of the Creative Arts Center.

The gallery hours are Monday through Saturday, from noon to 9:30 p.m. The galleries are closed on Sundays and University holidays. All Mesaros Galleries events are free and open to the public. For more information, call curator Robert Bridges at (304) 293-2312.
