Originally created to entertain Russian troops, the ensemble has captivated audiences in its native country and others around the world with its authentic Russian music and dance. With a colorful mixture of gravity-defying maneuvers, speedy footwork and perfect symphony, this youthful ensemble of 70 performers will present a marvelous treat for your eyes and ears.
The Lincoln Star said, “The incomparable Red Star Red Army Chorus and Dance Ensemble lived up to its lofty billing in a brilliant show.” The Seattle Post said, “Songs of love or melancholy alternated with ones of mischief or comedy, interspersed with wonderful dances of amazing vitality.”
The Ensemble is currently headed by Colonel Nikolai N. Rabovsky, graduate of the Gnesin Conservatory in Moscow and longtime choral conductor in the Russian Army. Don’t miss your opportunity to witness this unique display of international talent and prestige.
