Three-time Grammy award winner and multi-platinum recording artist T.I. will bring his catalog of hits to the WVU Coliseum on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 7:30 p.m. Fellow hip-hop artist Wale will open the show. Tickets are on sale now at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, ticketmaster.com and by phone at 304-293-SHOW and 800-745-3000.

Atlanta-based rapper T.I. has been making a name for himself for the past decade, churning out hit after hit and starring in a handful of major motion pictures. His last three records have all peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Rap charts and three of the four have altogether peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200. With successful collaborations on songs such as “Dead and Gone” (Justin Timberlake), “Live Your Life” (Rihanna), “Live in the Sky” (Jamie Foxx) and “Swagga Like Us” (Kanye West, Jay-Z, and Lil Wayne), T.I. has soared to the forefront of his industry. He also has accumulated over 50 awards from around the industry, on top of a staggering 100-plus more nominations.

Wale has been described as “hip-hop’s hungriest mind and most incisive tongue,” with raps that are “some of the most playfully sophisticated in the industry.” His debut record Attention Deficit has received critical acclaim since its release. He has previously worked with Mark Ronson, K’Naan, Lady Gaga, Gucci Mane and Pharrell.

Tickets may also be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Giant Eagle on Greenbag Rd., Morgantown and FYE in the Meadowbrook Mall, Bridgeport. Tickets range in price from $32 to $44, depending on seat location. WVU Students can receive a $10 discount on all price levels with a valid I.D. One discount per I.D.
