From the lights and ceiling of the ballroom, to the walls of the Side Pocket Pub, improvements at the Mountainlair reach from top to bottom.

Jeff Dunbar, Mountainlair assistant director, and Rick Steel, project manager, oversaw 15 successful projects at the student union during the summer months. The projects vary in size and scope, from hanging new black lights for “cosmic bowling” in the games area, to installing the new restaurant Taziki’s, and making preparations to change McCoy’s into a Chick-fil-A in the food court.

Some of the improvements, such as new lighting in the upstairs hallways, may be imperceptible to all but the most attentive. Others will make an immediate impression, like the new tiling on the main floor.
