The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration class 500, “Trainer Courses for Construction Safety,” is being offered by West Virginia University’s Safety and Health Extension Service in Richmond, Va. July 13-16.

The four-day course is designed for personnel in the private sector interested in teaching the 10 and 30-hour construction safety and health outreach program to their employees and other interested groups.

Training topics include OSHA construction standards, policies and regulations.

Seating is limited and preregistration is required two weeks prior to the course start date. The priority registration deadline is Tuesday, June 29. Tuition per person is $750.

Customized group training sessions are also available on a contractual basis for employers wishing to train their workforce.
