Considered one of the greatest love stories of all time, the Tony Award-winning musical, “Camelot” will make a stop at WVU’s Creative Arts Center on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at 7:30 p.m. as part of a national tour.

Tickets are still available for the production of the love triangle between renowned literary characters King Arthur, Queen Guenevere and the knight Lancelot and may be purchased at the Mountainlair and Creative Arts Center box offices, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at http://www.ticketmaster.com and by phone at 304-293-SHOW.

Set in a time that is ruled by honor and chivalry, this musical has been described as “the ultimate fantasy of the musical stage.”

Based on the popular novel, “The Once and Future King,” the extravagant tale was brought to Broadway in 1960 where it ran for over 800 shows and has been revived several times. Featuring an enchanting score (including the hauntingly romantic “If Ever I Would Leave You” and “I Loved You Once in Silence”), Camelot was made into an award-winning film in 1967.

Tickets range in price from $35 to $40, depending on seat location.WVU Students can purchase tickets for $25 at the campus box offices with a valid Mountaineer card. One discount will be given per I.D.

Mountainlair Box Office hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the CAC Box Office is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
