West Virginia University fans from around the world will celebrate the sixth-annual Mountaineer Nation Day Oct. 21.

Mountaineer Nation Day is a 24-hour period dedicated to fans and their pride and passion for WVU. This year’s celebration will take place on the day the football team takes on Baylor, televised at 8 p.m. on Fox Sports 2.

WVU is pushing for a record number of participants in an attempt so showcase Mountaineer Nation in as many parts of the world as possible.

Register your game watch party for the WVU/Baylor football game at http://mountaineernationday.wvu.edu. Last year, for the second straight year, WVU had at least one watch party in every U.S. state. Each person who registers a watch party will be automatically entered to win an official Mountaineer Nation Day prize pack and/or a special Snapchat geofilter for your watch party on game day. Also, all fans who register a party will receive a 15 percent off coupon to http://ShopWVU.com.

This year, the Mountaineer Nation Day Pre-Game Prize Patrol will be headed to neighboring states to give away prize packs to WVU fans. Starting Oct. 17, we will give one prize pack away in a different state. To find out more details on where we’ll be and how to win, visit http://mountaineernationday.wvu.edu and follow us on Facebook and Twitter

Follow WVU on Facebook and Twitter for exclusive Mountaineer Nation Day deals and even more chances to win prizes Oct. 21. Remember to use #WVUMND on any of your social media accounts to let us know you’re ready for the big day.

Spread the word, register your watch parties and wear gold and blue Oct. 21.
