The West Virginia University Alumni Association has received a generous gift from a WVU alum who is paving the way for future students to stay connected with their alma mater. Casey Rentch and his wife, Jaime, recognize the important role the Alumni Association has played in their lives following his graduation at the University.
The couple, who resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, said their choice to give to WVU comes from a long history of support from the Alumni Association. As life members, they also support the organization on the local level, volunteering with the Charlotte alumni chapter.
“WVU and the Alumni Association have been an important part of our lives for a long time,” Casey Rentch said. “We hope this gift can assist in the outreach and engagement that make the Alumni Association so impactful.”

With their help, the WVU Alumni Association can continue our efforts to build quality programs for our graduates,” said Sean Frisbee, President, and CEO of the WVU Alumni Association. “Their generosity showcases the dedication of our alumni to their alma mater and for that, we are extremely grateful.”
This gift from Casey and Jaime Rentch was made in conjunction with “A State of Minds: The Campaign for West Virginia University.” The fundraising effort by the WVU Foundation on behalf of the University runs through December.
