Beginning April 10, the West Virginia University Personal Rapid Transit will operate on a modified schedule to support the ongoing multimillion-dollar modernization activities and perform tests on the new automatic train control system.

The PRT will be in operation from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays for the remainder of the 2017 spring semester. Saturday service remains unchanged.

WVU will operate buses on a continuous loop from 6:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. and from 8 p.m. to 10:15 p.m. when the PRT is not in operation. Departure locations will be from Beechurst bus stop and Mountaineer Station. Stops in between will include Towers and Evansdale Crossing.

Also, Mountain Line buses will continue to support transportation during this time. Mountain Line schedules and routes can be accessed online at http://busride.org/Maps-Schedules/WVU-Campus-Services or download the mobile app. WVU bus schedule and routes can be viewed at http://transportation.wvu.edu/bus-services/mountain-line.

WVU Transportation and Parking appreciates your patience and looks forward to serving your transportation needs.
