Police investigating morning shooting at off-campus apartment complex

Police are investigating an early morning shooting today (Oct. 27) at an off-campus apartment complex.

The incident occurred at about 5 a.m. at The District on Van Voorhis Road. Local law enforcement agencies are investigating the incident, and they will release information as it becomes available.

If it is determined that a threat exists to the West Virginia University campus community, students, faculty, staff and others will be notified through additional text messages, WVU Today (http://wvutoday.wvu.edu/) and the Mountaineer Information Xpress (MIX).
