WVU Alumni Association to break ground on new alumni center
WHO: WVU President David C. Hardesty Jr.; Charles F. Erickson, honorary campaign chair; Douglas Van Scoy, chair, WVU Alumni Association Board of Directors; Stephen L. Douglas, president and chief executive officer, WVU Alumni Association; and other dignitaries.
WHAT: The WVU Alumni Association will officially break ground on the new 48,000-square-foot alumni center (the $12 million project is expected to be completed by late fall 2008). University officials will make brief remarks.
WHEN: 4:30 p.m. Friday, June 1 (a reception will be held at 4 p.m. prior to the groundbreaking)
WHERE: Site of new alumni center on Medical Center Drive, near the intersection of University Avenue and Van Voorhis Road
