WVU Parkersburg to observe memorial service in honor of the victims of the shooting tragedy at Virginia Tech

West Virginia University at Parkersburg will honor the victims of this week's shooting tragedy at Virginia Tech with a memorial service Monday (April 23).

The 11 a.m. program will be held in the student lounge during WVU Parkersburg's campus engagement time. Following a moment of silence by the gathered campus community, Student Government representatives will ring the campus bell to honor each life lost in the tragedy.

A condolence book will be available for students, faculty and staff to sign. It will be forwarded to Virginia Tech to offer thoughts and sympathies to the Blacksburg campus family.
