WVU School of Medicine to announce winner of alcohol safety t-shirt contest Wednesday
Officials with West Virginia University’s School of Medicine Alcohol Education Program will announce the winner of their annual t-shirt design contest at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, in the Mountainlair Commons. The public is invited.
The contest, open to all WVU students, encouraged participants to create an original design about alcohol safety. The shirts are being distributed to students at the announcement -- and all this week, while supplies last -- as a fun and creative way to draw attention to safe behavior prior to spring break.
The winner of the contest will receive an 80 gigabyte Apple iPod, valued at over $300, as well as having his/her winning design featured on the shirts.
