WVU Tech and ConocoPhillips to call on Charleston for insight into America's energy future
How the United States will meet its growing energy needs will be the topic of conversation among Charleston residents next week.
ConocoPhillips and West Virginia University Institute of Technology are co-hosting a town hall meeting with community leaders to discuss the nation's energy issues - ranging from traditional oil and gas development, to alternative energy, to energy efficiency and conservation. Charleston residents have the opportunity to ask questions and provide ConocoPhillips and other West Virginia energy experts with feedback on how they believe we can meet our nation’s growing energy demand.
Next week’s community meeting is one of the first stops in 2007 on a nationwide listening tour ConocoPhillips kicked off in late 2006.
