WVU educational summit is Wednesday in Charleston Topics include new SAT writing component, improving math/science skills

WHO: Bruce Lindvall, College Board; Laura Brady & Robert Mayes, WVU faculty; Lisa DeFrank-Cole, PROMISE Scholarship Program; and David C. Hardesty Jr., WVU president

WHAT: “Setting the Standard for Excellence: A WVU Educational Summit” is a day-long series of professional development workshops geared toward West Virginia high school guidance counselors, principals, teachers, other educators and state leaders. Approximately 150 people have registered.

WHEN: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 23
