WHAT: Capito will be joining 4-H members for the last seven-mile stretch of the “Out Spoken for 4-H” fund-raising bike ride. She will then deliver the keynote presentation at the Older 4-H Members’ Conference. Media are encouraged to cover the events.

WHERE: Start of final leg – Wal-Mart, Weston; keynote presentation – WVU Jackson’s Mill near Weston
BACKGROUND: Nine 4-H members and other participants are making a 250-mile trip across eastern and central West Virginia. The cyclists began their cross-country trek Thursday, June 17, at West Virginia University Extension Service’s Jefferson County Office in Kearneysville and will end Sunday, June 20, at WVU Jackson’s Mill. The group will be staying in Cabins, Grant County, tonight (June 18) and Elkins tomorrow night (June 19). On Sunday, Capito will meet the group and ride into Jackson’s Mill. There, the group will be greeted by 400 people attending the Older 4-H Members’ Conference.
