DETAILS: Participants will include representatives of Century Aluminum, Steel Advisory Commission, Glassworks, Marble King, Chemical Alliance Zone, Forestry Association, HK Casting, VENCO, Matthews International, Kelly Foundry, Sturm, West Virginia Technology Association, Fontaine Engineering and TransAmerican Automation. They will exhibit samples of their products.
These companies are a vital part of the manufacturing and technology base upon which West Virginia must build its industrial future. The goal of Industries of the Future-West Virginia is to help them evolve into energy-efficient, productive and competitive manufacturers.
Industries of the Future-West Virginia is a state version of a national program developed through the U.S. Department of Energy. The state program is a partnership involving WVU, the DOE’s Office of Industrial Technologies, the West Virginia Development Office and state industry groups.
