WVU women’s softball club to raffle parking pass

The West Virginia University women’s softball club will raffle a parking pass next week as part of its fund-raising efforts.

Beginning Monday (March 18), the club will raffle off a parking spot in the Mountainlair parking garage. Tickets are $2 for one ticket and $5 for three tickets and can be purchased in the Mountainlair between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. through Thursday (March 21).

The winner, to be announced Friday (March 22), will receive one parking pass for the Mountainlair parking garage good for fall semester 2002.

The 20-member women’s softball team is in its first season as a University club. The team began its schedule last week with a double-header sweep over George Washington.
