Pictured above is the main building at the ancient stone city of Petra. WVU students and religious studies professor Aaron Gale visited the site in modern-day Jordan during an archeological excavation in Israel this past summer. Elizabeth McNamer, a professor at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont., who also led a group of students to Israel during the excavation, will present "The First Century of Christianity in Jerusalem" March 31 at WVU.
