Alyssa Hash, daughter of Kristina Hash, child care facility implementation team member and assistant professor in the Division of Social Work, plays with a friend Wednesday at Blaney House. Kristina Hash is one of 17 members of the diverse team made up of faculty, staff, administrators and students from across campus that will look at operating hours, infant care, flexibility in scheduling and the center's financial relationship to the University.

FIRST FAMILY

WVU's first lady and Joe Fisher, associate vice president for facilities and services (far right) will be leading a child care facility implementation team. CREATING A MORE FAMILY-FRIENDLY CAMPUS

WVU President Mike Garrison and his daughter, Julia, chat with Isaac Seccurro-Nay whose parents are Sheila Seccurro, executive director of compensation in the Division of Human Resources and a member of the child care center implementation team, and Shari Nay. Garrison told WVU families and members of the media Wednesday that the University cannot compete for students, faculty and staff without creating a more family-friendly campus, and a child care center will be another important step in that direction.
