November 22nd, 2011The West Virginia University Foundation announced today (Nov. 22) that the 2011 Pride Travel Fund has received a record $92,320 from 780 donors to date. This year's campaign surpassed the previous record of $86,000 raised in 2010. -
WVU Marching Band to perform at new Mingo Central High School Aug. 26
August 18th, 2011The West Virginia University Marching Band will kick off the 2011 season with a trip to southwestern West Virginia, and a performance at the new Mingo Central High School in Mingo County Friday evening Aug. 26. -
Alumni and friends of West Virginia University and the Mountaineer Marching Band are being asked to help the band travel this fall, including a planned trip to Piscataway, N.J. for the Oct. 29 football game against Rutgers University.

WVU Marching Band to perform annual "Keynotes" Concerts at CAC
November 23rd, 2009The West Virginia University Marching Band, under the direction of Jay Drury, will present its annual "Keynotes Concerts" at the Creative Arts Center, Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 30 & Dec. 1. The concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Lyell B. Clay Concert Theatre and will feature the Band's full complement of brass, woodwinds, percussion, flags and feature twirlers. They will perform musical highlights from the 2009 football season, including favorite pre-game and halftime music. -
